Although all group members already know about Bletchley Park and what was achieved there, not many will have had the chance to visit it more than two or three times. Dr. Mark Baldwin has been to Bletchley Park about a hundred times during the past 24 years, not only as a visitor, but also as a tour leader, publisher, exhibitor, speaker, and lecturer for an MSc course (for Buckingham University). He has also attended special events such as the unveiling of the Turing statue, and the preview of the film ‘The Imitation Game’. Mark plans to look beyond the cryptological work at Bletchley Park, and to provide a broader view of the site, its history, and how it was saved from demolition.
