Amassing clandestine and cryptologic artifacts over the last 30 years, Richard Brisson will take members on a virtual tour of the 50 or so displays which occupy most of his basement at his Ottawa home. Overall, it will be a rather fast paced tour except for a few pauses for artifacts which are perhaps unique or special in terms of their provenance or place in history. Clandestine artifacts are mainly from the Cold War, WW2 and pre-WW2. Members will also be shown displays featuring a small number of “people of note” who were key influencers or actors in the fields of cryptology and/or espionage.
